Unfortunately, we had to put our 13 1/2 year old beagle down last month. It was a very challenging and sad event that I don't want to repeat for a long time! It took me a few weeks to get use of the extra time in the mornings. Before, I would take our dog out for his morning routine then feed him. Our home seems to be missing something, not only are we empty nesters but we're also pet less and I'm no long a Den Mother to our Dear Chip (tear, tear, sigh). Rest In Peace Chip, you've been a good friend, and companion! I miss you.
Sorry to hear about your dog's death. This is a nice tribute to your furry friend.
