My favorite season has arrived!!! I love the smells, colours, fresh air & sunshine, and the bears??? at this time of year. I'm not a gardener, one day maybe, I enjoy going to the fall fairs & buying the produce and home canned pickles, jams & jellies (let someone that enjoys canning do the work). Today, I'm going to the fall fair to enjoy the season & make some purchases.
The bears, my sister caught one running through her yard on her digital. My neighbour has a fenced yard but the bear broke through the wood fence between our yards to get at their compost. While the bears are in town, I wait until it's light to put our beagle out for his morning routine. I don't think our 13 year old beagle can fight off a large black bear or for that matter, I couldn't either!!!

Rhonda, I agree, I love fall as well. I will be off to the fair myself on Friday. For both of us though, we know snow is not far behind (I'm in Maine).
