Snow, snow, go away

Hi again. I checked out some blogs today, one being mojomonday.blogspot.com. Since we're still having snow, I decided to create a Christmas card for the mojomonday sketch 232 by Teresa Kline. I used a daisyd's Rub-On, The Paper Patch green pp, red CTMH cs, CTMH ponderosa pine ink, HOTP Layered Labels template, & a craftsmart stamp. I also used a button, ribbon, striped pp and a holly brad from my stash. Since, it's St. Patrick's I should be creating St. Paddy's day cards instead of Christmas cards! Now, I've got a head start on this year's cards.

The flight of Spring

Hello, Happy St. Patrick's Day! Spring has not officially started, but the robins thought so...until Thursday March 15th. I could hear the robins singing or so I thought! They were singing all right for a dry place to perch. From my window, I watched the robins fly from branch to branch seeking shelter from the snow. Mother Nature played havoc with the robins! The snow turned to rain and by Friday the branches were bare again. I took these photos from my deck of the birds and created a spread. Thanks for visiting!

Chocolate Dipped Artful Card Kit

Hello everyone. Welcome to my blog. It has been awhile, I'm back :) I've been enjoying playing on the PaperWishes mb and creating for all the wonderful challenges. A new feature on the site is the Designer Challenge. Each month a Paper Wishes designer will be featuring a Designer's Challenge on the PW mb. The winner will receive a $15. gift certificate to spend at PaperWishes.com. This month's Designer Challenge is to create a card using the Chocolate Dipped Artful Card Kit. I created three cards. Two of the card designs are from "Susan's Journal of Paper Engineering Secrets" book, another awesome buy from PaperWishes. The cards are cut away cards, my third card is a pocket card. Do visit us on the mb, we would love to have you! Thanks for visiting!

Christmas will be here before you know it!

Christmas is just around the corner, it's time to create your cards & gifts for the folks you love. This card was created using cards from Christmas past. I found duplicate cards, cut a circle, then a larger circle, foam taped the smaller circle onto the larger to create a 3D look and here you have it a new card from used ones. Thanks for visiting! I enjoy reading your comments, keep them coming.
